While the use of solutions based on Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) technology is seeing exponential growth globally, many in the protective design engineering community are still seeking information regarding the mechanical properties of Fiber Wrap and its added value compared to traditional rehabilitation methods. Eric Wolff, Director of the Force Protection Group at Fyfe Co. LLC and UB alumnus, will give a seminar on "Structural Retrofit Using FRP Technology" in which he will discuss the effective use of Fiber Wrap materials for strengthening walls, slabs and columns for retrofitting concrete structures subjected to blast, impact, and other short-duration dynamic loads.
