Welcome to the website of the Engineering Seismology Laboratory (ESL) at the State University of New York at Buffalo

The ESL focuses on research in the field of Engineering Seismology and Earthquake Engineering. 

bulletResearch on simulation of strong ground motion for seismological and engineering applications is central to the ESL.

The purpose of this site is to give information on past, currently ongoing and future projects of the ESL, as well as posting results when they become available. 

The Engineering Seismology Laboratory is a part of the Department of Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering  It is affiliated with the Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research (MCEER) in Buffalo, New York. 

Prof. Apostolos S. Papageorgiou, Supervisor. Currently a Professor at the University of Patras, Greece.
