The Lab associated to Homework 3 will take place on Oct 20, 2008 Please note the start-up times for each group:  
      Groups 1 and 2 at 1:00 pm :
      Group 3 at 2pm

Schedule at 1-2 pm: Group 1 lab and Group 2 presentation
Schedule at 2-3 pm: Group 2 lab and Group 1-3 presentation
Schedule at 3-4 pm: Group 3 lab

October 6, 2008

Due to incomplete preparations of the lab set-up, we must postpone the experiment scheduled for today (related to homework 3).  The new date will be next Monday Oct 13 at same times.   Please inform any colleagues you meet, in case they did not read this message.

September 23, 2008

1) On Monday September 29 at 1:00 pm in 140 Ketter Hall we will have a tutorial session on use of DADISP, for data processing, conducted by Mr Mark Pitman, Technical Services Manager of SEESL

2) During the class time tomorrow (i.e. 3:00 pm) we will witness a calibration test in lab.  Please bring hard hats and shoes.

3) Reading material for tomorrow : Class 05.   I am still modifying the notes to enhance them, but all material is valid - more to come-

September 2, 2008

 The tentative schedule for the HWK-LABS is posted now on the main website.   If no changes are announced in class or on the website news, then the dates are fixed.  

Lab reports are due two weeks after the date of the HWK-LBS assignment

You must chose your two partners before Monday, Sept 8, 2008.  

If you do not have a safety certification you cannot participate in the labwork, with a zero grade consequence.
